oooh! gorgeously taken photo. and i’m super jealous. i wish i could grow asparagus here (thailand) but i think it’s too hot. that or maybe i just don’t know where to find the seeds. :(
This photo was taken at a wild patch that I found out in the countryside. Harvest occurs in the cooler weather of spring, but it does get hot and humid here during our summers. It does taste best when freshly picked. Thank you for visiting my blog!
oh my goodness, to find wild asparagus would be awesome!! i planted some this year but have no idea how they will turn out!
I would love to have a patch here at home. Asparagus is common here along roadsides and railroads. Good luck with yours! Remember…don’t cut any until the third year. :o)

Look for the dead foliage from last year. It is light brown, bushy, fine and fern-y…probably 3 to 4 foot tall. Good luck!
